Family Health Services offers two very valuable programs to the residents of Tioga County.

Family Planning   

Family Planning has healthcare professionals and a caring staff that provide services that are confidential, professional, reliable and caring. These services include:

• Educational programs on topics such as: abstinence, birth control, self-esteem, healthy relationships, sexually transmitted diseases and teenage pregnancy.
• Factual information about birth control methods that can help you make informed choices.
• Teen Outreach dedicated to teens and their sexual health.
• Confidential health services including: mammogram referrals, breast exams, birth control methods, health screening (HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted disease screening for males and females), emergency contraception (morning after pill).

WIC (Women, Infants, Children) Program

The WIC Program is a supplemental and nutrition education program for eligible women, infants, and children. Tioga Opportunities, Inc. WIC Program offers:

• Monthly food checks so that you can buy healthy food for you and your children
• Nutrition education and counseling
• Convenient locations
• Referrals to other health and social services
