Tioga Opportunities, Inc. Housing Services assists low income homeowners with repairs to their homes. Our programs are designed to assist elderly, disabled, handicapped, low and moderate income families.
Our staff will inspect the homes of qualified applicants to determine the initial scope of work. We can help secure grant awards and assist in the bidding of the required work. We will periodically inspect progress and pay the contractors for completed work.
Homeowner assistance is provided through grant programs such as:
- HOME Program
- Affordable Home Repair Program
- RESTORE Program
- Rural Preservation Program
- Emergency Furnace Replacement Program
- Community Development Block Grants
- Weatherization Referral and Packaging Program
