Inspire - www.inspiresve.org
Tioga Opportunities, Inc. and the Spencer-Van Etten non-profit organization INSPIRE have formed a partnership, combing resources to continue the vision of INSPIRE.
INSPIRE will help the Spencer-Van Etten community LIVE, LEARN, RENEW, and SUSTAIN. Our programs will enhance the quality of life of all individuals living in and around our community through programs that:
- Enhance health and vitality
- Increase the availability and quality of individual and group housing
- Stimulate for life-long learning
- Promote economic renewal and development
- Encourage social and environmental responsibility
This program provides employment to transitional workers who are receiving cash benefits from the Department of Social Services, and helps them find an unsubsidized job. Increasing employment skills helps people get jobs, promote self-worth, create a higher quality of life, contributes to the local economy, and in some cases, a step toward breaking generational poverty.
