Tai Chi demonstration

Have you heard of Tai Chi, but you’re not quite sure what it is?  Tai Chi is a gentle, physical exercise consisting of slow, flowing body movements that can enhance balance and flexibility, reduce pain, and decrease the risk of falls in older adults.  A Tai Chi demonstration was offered at the Older Adult Health Fair on August 1st.  Click on the link below to learn more about this rewarding activity and to watch a demonstration.  Tai Chi classes are offered by the Department of Aging at various times throughout the year.  For more information, please call 607-687-4120, ext. 331.
