  In-home Services

Our services help older adults remain in their homes, improve their overall health, and enhance the ability of caregivers to care for their loved ones. Programs include:

  • In-home care: light housekeeping assistance and help with personal care needs
  • Emergency response buttons: discounts are available for the Lively Mobile device through GreatCall.  Call 1-888-841-7973 and provide the referral code "TIOGA."
  • Respite care: provides caregivers with a well-deserved break

  Nutritional Services

Programs help older adults maintain or improve their overall health and well-being with nutrition and social contacts.

Congregate dining: 

Enjoy a meal with family or friends in the Countryside Café!  Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Countryside Community Center.  Suggested contribution is $4 for age 60 and over, and $6 for ages under 60.

Home delivered meals:

Do you have difficulty preparing meals or lack regular access to healthy food? If you are 60 years or older, our Home Delivered Meals program provides hot lunches, cold suppers, and frozen meals to help meet your nutrition needs.

  Information & Insurance Counseling

Information services:

Do you have a question or problem and don’t know where to turn for help? Would you like more information about resources that exist in our community?

Our NY Connects trained staff will answer your questions and provide information relating to financial assistance, transportation, legal referrals, and more.

Does Medicare confuse and frustrate you? Our Health Insurance Benefits Specialist can help you navigate this complicated topic. We provide information on programs to save you money on prescription costs and healthcare plans.

  Senior Employment Program

The Senior Employment Program is a job training opportunity for unemployed adults who are age 55 or over and have a monthly income below $1,238 (or $1,669 for a household of two). Work part-time and earn additional income while learning valuable job skills.
