Congratulations to Lori Spatola-Davis on receiving the Community Action Service award at the NYSCAA and NYSWDA Conference in September. The award recognizes a current Community Action employee who provides either direct-service or administrative/support services who positively impacts individuals and families through their day-to-day work.
Lori’s commitment to Tioga Opportunities, Inc. and Community Action is second to none. She recently celebrated her 33rd anniversary with WIC and TOI; she has helped countless families achieve improved health and nutrition during her career. Part of what sets Lori apart from the crowd is her continuous desire to learn. She always has the best interests of her participants in mind and strives to evolve her program to meet their needs.
In a letter written on her behalf by the NYS Department of Health, it stated that, “Lori is always positive and optimistic and takes any challenge in stride. She is the first to volunteer for a special initiative, opportunity, training, or to provide her expertise on ways to improve WIC services throughout the state of New York.”
Please join us in congratulating Lori on this significant accomplishment!
