The Center for Disease Control (CDC) reports as many as 45 million Americans get sick from the flu each season. Getting a yearly flu shot is the first and most important step in protecting yourself and those around you against flu viruses.
Tioga Opportunities, Inc. will host community flu shot clinics at the following locations and times
• Tuesday, September 27th from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the Community Health Fair at Tioga Downs Casino and Resort, 2384 W River Rd, Nichols
• Wednesday, September 28th from 11:30am to 1:00pm at TOI’s Countryside Community Center, 9 Sheldon Guile Blvd., Owego
Flu shot vaccines are available for individuals aged 19 or older. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Those attending are asked to bring your insurance card. Call (607) 687-5333 for more information.
